Day 9: Restoring All Things
The team spent the entire day venturing through African plains. God gave them a gift as they saw lions, lionesses, and some other cats! Elephants are everywhere at their safari lodge and giraffes are usually in sight! Amazing! The team spent these past couple days debriefing together and sharing the ways they saw God. During that time they processed difficult moments, and challenged each other about ways they can move forward, be changed, and continue to live as ambassadors for Christ.
Africa is a unique place - The poorest villages and deep brokenness entangled with the most stunning landscape and wild animals. There is no place like it. There is something very profound about being there, and as hard as it is to reconcile this clash of worlds in our own minds, I think many of us who have experienced it, can agree:
In the deep sadness, we experience HIS boundless joy.
In the wild, we experience HIS dominion.
In the poverty, we experience HIS riches.
In the chaos, we experience HIS control.
In the hate, we experience HIS perfect love.
In the dirty, we experience HIS beauty.
In the brokenness, we experience HIS restoration.
In the hopelessness, we experience HIS promises.
God is working! We, Amiina Ministries, have the privilege of seeing God work in distinct ways as he fulfills His promises to those closest to his heart. He is restoring all things back to Himself even in the midst of so many tragedies. As we humbly join Him, would you consider joining us as well? It takes a family to accomplish this hard and holy work and we invite you to be a part of it!
If you would like to get involved, please email: email@example.com
“Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
One way you can get involved is by joining us for our 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, June 13th! For more information please visit: www.amiinaministries.org/events.
