Ugandan Soil!

Our Team has safely arrived on Ugandan soil! Praise the Lord! Traveling during COVID has been a real challenge and has presented lots of obstacles. The planning has also been difficult as the COVID rules for travel were ever changing and at times we were unsure if the Ugandan boarders were even open to travelers. We knew that if we were going to continue with this trip as planned, God NEEDED to part the Red Sea for each person individually. The control was completely stripped from our hands. Despite multiple COVID tests and many change of plans, our team continued to walk in faith! And GOD? He came through time and time again! Praise the Lord!

It's 4:45am in Uganda (7hrs ahead) and the team waited 2 hrs to get their COVID test results back. All negative, again! Yes! They are very tired from their 26+hrs of travel. They will be spending the night in Entebbe and then traveling to Kampala first thing in the morning. Please be praying for them as they settle into their beds, adjust to the time change, and get rested for their first full day together on the red soil! Pray that they would feel equipped to share the Gospel with those they come into contact with, and that they would experience GOD in new and intimate ways!

"I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.

Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing."

Psalm 34:1-10
